Triathlon Team FAQ
Who can join the Tri Team? We’re looking for athletes of all abilities that take their goals seriously… but don’t take themselves so seriously. If that speaks to you… you can join ;-)
What is the cost for joining? There is a $99 annual fee
What do I get for my $99 annual fee? Access to a professional triathlon coach, training plans, coach led training options, great sponsors, training partners, Canopy at many races to support you in many ways, discounts on TriCentric products and services, you can purchase team training and racing gear… the list goes on but the main thing you get is an environment to grow, learn and train with knowledgeable, talented people.
I already belong to a tri club… can I still join TriCentric? Yes. We would like you do some racing and training in TriCentric team gear to be a part of the supportive environment we have but many of us belong to multiple teams and clubs and there is no conflict.
Do I have to Train and Race in a TriCentric Uniform? Yes... sometimes ;-). Most teams with this level of access to a coach, resources and support cost a lot more. We keep the cost low to lower the barrier to quality training/coaching and to advertise our brand... that means we want you to wear your TC uniform during some training and racing... its is, in fact one of the coolest parts of being on any team and many of us belong to a few so as long as TC gets some good percentage kit exposure... everyone is happy.
If I’m a TriCentric coached athlete, do I still have to pay the fee since I pay for coaching? NO... TriCentric coached athletes are on the team during any year they are coached. If a TC coached athlete stops with coaching, than the team fee is required for any year they are not coached.
